Make These Chocolate and Candied Orange Baklava for Your Next Party
To make this Chocolate Baklava, I use three of my favorite ingredients: dark chocolate, filo dough and candied orange skin. These little pieces of heaven will make you the most popular guest at any party.

Vegan Chocolate and Pistachio Baklava
Makes 8 cups6 large baklava sheets, cover the sheets with moist towel to prevent drying1/2 cup coconut oil1 cup coarsely chopped pistachio3 tablespoons chopped candied orange skin or orange marmalade2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips2 tablespoons cocoa powderhist of cayenne pepper1/2 cup sugar and orange blossom water syrup*-Melt the coconut oil and gently brush one sheet. Place another sheet on top and repeat until you reach the last sheet.-Cut the oiled sheets into 8 equal squares.-Gently push each square into espresso cup.-Mix the pistachio with orange marmalade and the chocolate chips. Divide the pistachio mixture between the filo cups. Fold the top and gently turn the cup upside down. Place the folded side down. Bake in a 250 F. oven for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven, drizzle with the cold sugar syrup.Allow the cups to cool for couple hours. Mix the coco powder with the cayenne pepper and dust each dome for fabulous dessert.*Sugar Syrup2 cups sugar1 cup water1 tablespoon lemon juice1 tablespoon orange blossom water-Place the sugar with the water and the lemon juice in heavy sauce pan. Bring to boil, turn down the heat and simmer for 15 minutes and the syrup is thicken. Remove from the heat, add the orange blossom water. Allow the syrup to cool for one day before using.
